2022 Registrations

Liverpool Spears Sports Soccer Club would like to extend a warm welcome to all new and returning players for the 2022 season. Online registrations will be available from 10 January 2022 via https://bit.ly/LSpears22.

The registration packages for 2022 are as follows:

Playing Age Groups	Amount
U5 – U17	$350
Seniors	$500

NOTE: Returning players to receive a $100 discount – Please ensure you do not make payment online via Play football Website, rather you pay in person on one of the registration dates – REGISTRATION WILL NOT BE APPROVED UNTIL PAYMEN IS MADE IN FULL

Registration fees includes:

Training uniform Set (Jersey, Shorts and Socks)
2. Game Day uniform Set (Jersey and Shorts)
3. Sports Bag
4. Tracksuit
5. Presentation days, Trophy etc…
6. Referee fees and
All Southern District and Football Australia Fees, which means there are no ongoing match fees.

New & Returning Players:

All players must register online at https://bit.ly/LSpears22 before attending one of the above registrations days.

Online payments will be accepted when registering, payments can also be accepted via cash only on registration dates.

Active Kids Voucher:

Don’t forget to apply online via the link below for the NSW Governments “Active Kids Voucher”, go to www.service.nsw.gov.au.

You can use the voucher to receive a $100 discount on your registration.

You will need the voucher number when registering, so make sure you apply for the voucher before you go online to register.

**You must have your voucher number available when submitting your registration in Play Football in order to receive the discount off your fee.**

Discounts Available:

An early bird discount of $10 is available if you register before 1 February 2022.

A family discount is available for 2 or more players in an immediate family. This discount will be applicable when you register at the club house on the above-mentioned dates.

What to bring on registration day:

Players are to bring a copy of the receipt/invoice that they will receive via email once registered on playfootball and Active Kids Voucher number.

New players will also need to bring suitable ID (drivers licence, proof of age card, birth certificate or passport).

All Coaches, Managers and committee members are volunteers for Liverpool Spears Sports Club.

All Coaches and Managers must complete a working with Children Check. Once you have completed the application form, you need to go into your local RMS office to complete the check. please click on volunteer and there is no fee to this. Senior Summer Competition End of Year Presentation 2019

Liverpool Spears Sports Club held its end of year senior summer competition on Thursday 5 December 2019, all players, coaches and friends celebrated the end of the summer season at our home ground Whitlam Park 2 – Busby.

We would like to congratulate all participating teams for a great summer competition, the end of summer season was marked with a great grand final between Alsanafer and Alfityaan which resulted in a 3 -1 win for the Alsanfer team. The winning team was presented with a cash prize of $500 and the runner up with a $300 cash prize.

All participating players and friends enjoyed the evening with a special BBQ prepared by our staff and volunteers. The club’s president Dr Alshelh commended all teams for a great summer competition and for their excellent sportsmanship and congratulated the winners for a great grand final. Dr Alshelh thanked all the players, volunteers and coaching staff for their commitment and dedication toward the club throughout the summer season and for their hard work in and off the field.

The evening also featured an official presentation of special prizes – a complimentary jersey – to all participating senior players. We thank you all for your time and dedication during the 2019 summer season. We look forward to seeing you all again at the start of the 2020 winter season.

Junior Summer Competition End of Year Presentation 2019

Liverpool Spears Sports Club held its end of year junior summer competition on Tuesday 3 December 2019, all players, coaches and parents celebrated the end of the summer season at our home ground Whitlam Park 2 – Busby.

With the company of family and friends the young Liverpool Spears soccer stars enjoyed the evening with soccer games and a special BBQ prepared by our staff and volunteers. The presentation commenced with a short advice followed by the secretary’s address, who thanked all the parents, players, volunteers and coaching staff for their commitment and dedication toward the club throughout the summer season and for their hard work in and off the field.

The evening also featured an official presentation of special prizes to all our junior players. We thank you all for your time and dedication during the 2019 summer season. We look forward to seeing you all again at the start of the 2020 winter season.

Liverpool Spears Sports Club – End of Year Presentation 2019

Liverpool Spears Sports Club held its end of year presentation on Sunday 8 September 2019, all players, coaches and parents celebrated the end of the season with a fun filled day at our home ground Whitlam Park 2 – Busby.

With the company of family and friends the young Liverpool Spears soccer stars enjoyed the day with novelty and soccer games and a special BBQ prepared by our staff and volunteers. The presentation commenced with a glorious recitation from the Holy Qur’an by a young Liverpool Spears U9s player Bilal Elhallak followed by the president’s address Dr Ghayath Alshelh OAM, who thanked all the parents, players, volunteers and coaching staff for their commitment and dedication toward the club throughout the season and for their hard work in and off the field.

The day also featured an official presentation of trophies to all players, tokens of appreciation to our volunteers, coaches, team managers and sponsors. We thank you all for your time and dedication during the 2019 winter season, 1st year of Liverpool Spears Sports Club. We are very proud of this great achievement! One of the many great achievements is the establishment of the first Muslim U16s girls’ team in the southern district. Our U14s boys’ team has successfully made it all the way to the finals and secured a 3rd place position in their group.

Liverpool Spears Sports Club aims to maintain its services to the community working collaboratively to promote intercultural soccer hub within the region alongside youth to promote community participation, inclusiveness and harmony. The club also aims to maintain its ties and positive relationship with the local Southern Districts Soccer Football Association (SDSFA) members to develop and promote our game in the district through effective leadership, quality training and positive engagement to support all community members and families.

We sincerely thank our dedicated volunteer coaches, team managers and parents for a wonderful season and for giving their time to our kids so that they can enjoy soccer and become more fit.
